He looks around s Amy and Rory step out, looking around. “Wait, is this London?” Amy asks quizzically. The Doctor straightens his bowtie and looks around. “That it is.” He wonders why the TARDIS brought him here. He knows he’s been on this particular street before, sometime… Suddenly, he hears laughter, and two people walk downt the street, hand in hand, looking incredibly happy. He smiles at them, glad to see two humans so happily unashamed to be in love. He looks at them more closely. The girl had blonde hair. The man has bushy brown hair. But why do they look so- The Doctor tenses all over, trying not to tremble as he realizes who he’s looking at. A horrible sadness washes over him as he remembers how happy he made Rose then, and how happy he was as well, and how he never, ever told her what he’d been wanting to all that time. Tears form in his eyes. “Um, come along Ponds.” he says, quickly walking back into the TARDIS. “We, ah, let’s go somewhere else. This is dreadfully boring. Amy and Rory look at eachother and shrug, following the Doctor back inside the TARDIS. “Are you okay, Doctor?” Amy asks. He nods, not looking at her as he flips a switch on the TARDIS. “Of course. I’m always alright.”
